The Alan Paine Helmsley Gents shooting coat comes with a water repellent outer over a waterproof and breathable membrane. It has all the things one would look for in the perfect shooting coat.
It has a shaped sleeve allowing freedom of movement without pulling up the cuff. The heavy duty zip is covered with a poppered front placket under which is a secure map pocket meaning you don't have to open the jacket to get to essential items such as a phone or handkerchief allowing you to stay warm throughout.
The breathable membrane ensures moisture is wicked away from your body whilst the waterproof windbreaker cuffs and waterproof dripstrip bottom to the lining ensure the elements are kept outside the jacket.
There are two cartridge pockets with eyelet drainage holes and two handwarmer pockets above those with two secure internal pockets giving you space for carrying lots of equipment with pockets becoming overly full and dragging the jacket out of shape.
The inside of the collar is trimmed with Alcantara making it extremely comfortable when you have your collar raised and secured with the throat tab. It also comes with a draw cord adjustable waist to give the perfect fit and a detachable adjustable peak hood for those really unpleasant days when you don't want the rain running down the back of your neck.
